You may remember me from before. I really haven't been coming here at all for a few years, and it's given me a lot to think about.
Basically, I was a member here because Amir told me about this place. He had this account that was three characters, and it was interesting to see one since I heard that they're rare. I joined, and noticed a big community of people cracking AIM accounts using crackers and other methods of getting into accounts. Looking back at it, I remember being really left out because I couldn't crack a single account. I was jealous because everyone had such cool names, and the only real screen names I had was vresh and pojrs, which I registered on AOL myself. I remember getting suspended a few times for spamming (one suspension that lasted a year), so I left and went to the Screen Name forums. A little before getting suspended, I remember this guy that was cracking Youtube accounts and giving them to people. I really don't remember who it was, but they gave me the account "cranium," and it was so great because I could upload videos over ten minutes. I had fun with that too. Looking back at most of my videos, they suck, but at least I've got a nice account. I could very well be saying "Thank you very much," but that's not what I came here for. What I came here for is a realization that I had a lot of time to think about over the years because of what I've done. It's the original owners of the accounts that are being hacked. These accounts that we dearly love, like Amir's Batman account, and my cranium account, we're lost by their original owners! I can't be a bad guy like that, and why would you all want to be too? Yeah, I know I spammed a lot here, and I generally had a bad reputation because of my horrible screen names and my personality, but now I've had a lot of time to think: is this really something we really need to carry with us? A history of hacking AIM accounts? What if you became famous, and you've got this awesome account and then you get interviewed, and they asked you "How did you feel when you made this account?" I mean, wouldn't you feel a little uncomfortable? Either you would be honest and say "Well, I cracked it," or "Well, someone gave it to me and they cracked it," either way, the pressure is on. Don't get me wrong, I understand that their account security sucked, or their account expired and they didn't keep well enough track of it. Someone told me here, and it totally makes sense, but in real life, if you were to steal a car, the police aren't going to say "Well it's your now. They should have locked their door!" Thoughts? -------------------- AIM: pojrs

Thoughts? hot novel broe -------------------- "im sick of your tattoos, and the way you always criticize the smiths, and morrissey.
i know you are a sucker for anything acoustic, but when i say "lets keep in touch" i really mean i wish that you'd grow up this is the first song for your mix tape and it's short just like your temper somewhat golden like the afternoons we used to spend before you got too cool.." |
